What is Roulette?
Roulette is the Europe's most popular casino
game and must be played carefully to win.Although one of the oldest
casino gambling games, Roulette is also one of the most popular
games played in modern casinos and fixed odds betting terminals
throughout UK betting shops. Roulette bets are placed by putting
chips of a particular monetary value, on a table decorated with
a pattern of boxes and numbers. These different boxes and numbers
represent the different bets that can be placed. A wheel is set
spinning when the bets are placed and a ball is spun onto the wheel
with a motion that opposes the wheel's rotation. The ball rapidly
loses speed and after bouncing from the metal rungs of the wheel,
comes to rest in a pocket of a particular number. The number of
the pocket is the winning number.
Basics of Roulette
Roulette is a simple game to play. The game
consists of a wheel of 38 stops and a ball that can land with equal
chance on any of the 38 stops. The stops are numbered in non-sequential
order 0, 00, and then 1-36. The stops 1-36 are colored either black
or red and the 0 and 00 stops are colored green. The player makes
wagers on where the ball will land on the wheel by placing chips
on the Roulette table. Winnings are paid on a multiplier of the
bet.
In Roullete a Player win when the ball
lands on a number or color that corresponds with the player's
wager.
In Roulette a Player loses when any wager
that does not correspond to a number or color the ball lands on.
Roulette players are often the most studious of all gamblers.
