Razz is another variation of seven card
stud poker. The lowest hand wins the pot. Aces are low, and straights
and flushes have no effect on the low value of a hand. The best
possible hand is 5-4-3-2-A.The lowest hand in Razz is A-2-3-4-5.
Each new hand begins with every player putting
an ante into the pot. For example, in a $2/$4 limit game, each player
would ante 40 cents. The ante is not like a blind, and does not
count toward any future bets. In the first round, the betting starts
with the player having the highest upcard. This is a forced bet,
and the software will automatically put the specified minimum bet
(called the bring-in) into the pot.
There are five betting rounds. Each player
can make 3 no more bets. All bets and raises must be equal to either
the low limit, or high limit bet size. The best possible hand is
5-4-3-2-A.The highest card by the suit starts acting by the forced
bet.If the low hand is tied, the first player clockwise from the
dealer starts acting.
